Star Wars star Mark Hamill just revealed the most valuable item he held onto after filming wrapped on the original trilogy.

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Hamill confirmed that he still owns Luke Skywalker's boots from the very first movie in the franchise, 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope. He added that he isn't sure what Luke's kicks are worth today, as he's not interested in ever selling them. Hamill's tweet doesn't make it clear if he's referring to the boots he wore as part of Luke's farmboy or ceremonial outfits, or even those he wore while disguised as a stormtrooper.

Vintage Star Wars trading cards autographed by Hamill also recently resurfaced online, which left the actor slightly embarrassed by the off-color captions he'd scribbled on some of them. Hamill confirmed that he had only added the spicy gags when signing the cards because their owners agreed not to sell or share them with anyone. "I felt free to be outrageous [and] unrestrained because when I signed those cards, it was under the condition that the owner would never sell them or ever show them in public," he tweeted.

Hamill played Luke Skywalker in A New Hope and its direct follow-ups, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. While he didn't return for the prequel trilogy (which was set largely before Skywalker was born), Hamill later reprised the role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. His part in the first of these films, The Force Awakens, amounted to a brief cameo during the finale, although Hamill has since confirmed that a scene featuring Luke's severed hand nearly opened the movie.

The Star Wars veteran has also appeared as the younger Luke Skywalker in Disney+ shows The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Both of these appearances made extensive use of visual and audio effects technology to de-age Hamill's likeness and voice to what they were in Return of the Jedi. The Book of Boba Fett also marks the first interaction between Luke and Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano, and executive producer Dave Filoni has since expressed interest in telling the story of how the two characters first met.

Hamill isn't the only actor to portray Luke Skywalker recently, either. Grant Feely played the 10-year-old version of the character in several episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, with Hamill endorsing the child actor prior to the show's premiere in May. "Grant Feely looks like a perfect Luke Skywalker and I am wishing him all the very best!" he tweeted.
