It might feel good to be a well-armed Stormtrooper at the end of the spear in the Star Wars universe, but some of these guys have it tough. If the new 1/6 scale Remnant Stormtrooper figure from Hot Toys is any indicator, these new troopers featured in Disney +'s Star Wars series The Mandalorian are getting pretty beat up out there beyond the fringes of the New Republic.

Those clean, shiny uniforms we're used to seeing from A New Hope through The Rise of Skywalker aren't so polished anymore. Or, as Hot Toys puts it, "In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, the Empire is in disarray. Fragments of the former regime have gained footholds on distant worlds, trying to cling to what little power they have. The once pristine and uniform ranks of stormtroopers that fought for the Empire now resemble a ragtag army of mercenaries for lawless gangsters."

The sculpting is screen-accurate and features a greatly detailed helmet and Stormtrooper armor, convincing weathering effects and even pair of nasty-looking blaster rifles. It also comes with seven variations of gloved hands, a white belt and a pair of white books.

Other figures in the series naturally include the Mandalorian himself, as well as the IG-series assasin IG-11, the new Jet Trooper and a Heavy Infantry Mandalorian. Sadly, though, no Baby Yoda.

Hot Toys' Remnant Stormtrooper figure is already available to pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles and retails for $205 or $61.50/month. The figure is expected to ship sometime between October and December 2020.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. A new episode arrives each Friday on Disney+.
