Star Wars mastermind George Lucas visited the set of Disney+'s popular series The Mandalorian.

In a short video, lasers ricochet off of stone pillars as the series protagonist walks intensely across a sand dune arena. Lucas himself can be seen viewing the filming process of the television series, while traversing the different set pieces alongside Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.

Despite there being no sound, Lucas ardently talks with showrunners and other crew members. He even sits down with series creator and head writer Jon Favreau as they examine an off-screen scene from the show.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian chronicles the fallout from the original Star Wars trilogy, where the tyrannical Empire was defeated by the Rebellion. Before the rise of the First Order, a lone bounty hunter navigates the rowdy badlands of a faraway galaxy, toting the traditional garb of the Mandalorian race.
