STAR WARS EPISODE VIILet the rumor mill begin on who will be the director to take on "Star Wars Episode VII." Collider has begun a rumor that Matthew Vaughan is currently in talks to take on the long-awaited "Star Wars" film. Collider cites a source that states taking on "Star Wars" is the main reason he dropped out of "X-Men: Days of Future Past." However, the website also notes this is definitely a rumor and unconfirmed.

Continuing with the "Star Wars" rumor mill, EW.com states that Harrison Ford might come back to the "Star Wars" universe as Han Solo. EW quotes an unnamed "highly placed source" as saying, "Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he's upbeat about it, all three of them are," referring to Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. The article notes that Ford will likely not go into the next level of talks until there's a script and a director in place -- either could be dealbreakers. Though with Vaughan rumored to be in talks for the film, the director's chair could be filled sooner rather than later.

THE MUPPETS 2Collider has an update on the sequel to last year's "The Muppets," which will begin shooting soon. The film will shoot at Pinewood Studio in London from late January until April. Furthermore, Bret McKenzie of "Flight of the Conchords" fame will return to compose music for the sequel -- it's a smart move, considering McKenzie's "Man or Muppet" won an Oscar.

ROBOT CHICKENE! Online has a first look at an upcoming episode of "Robot Chicken" featuring none other than "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman getting devoured alive by the shambling undead.

"I know that I come out during some sort of argument and I try to talk about zombies for a little bit, but then I am swiftly eaten and devoured by a bunch of zombies," Kirkman told E! about his appearance. "It's not the biggest role and I don't expect to be winning an Emmy anytime soon. But hopefully it will be memorable enough to have a lasting effect in the Robot universe. Getting in a room and being able to scream as loud as you can in front of other people on the other side of the glass is certainly a bit awkward, but it was fun."
