The year began with a new volume of Marvel and Lucasfilm's ongoing Star Wars comic book series which is set immediately after the events of The Empire Strikes Back. Among the new characters introduced is Commander Ellian Zahra, an Imperial officer with a personal vendetta against Leia Organa. The truth behind her mysterious grudge set to be revealed this summer.

Marvel Comics has released its advance solicitation information for its titles going on sale June 2020, including Star Wars #7 by Charles Soule and Jesus Saiz. The upcoming issue will reveal Zahra's backstory as she pursues the Rebel Alliance across the galaxy on her ship, Tarkin's Will. According to the solicit information, the standard cover is illustrated by Carlo Pagulayan and variant cover is illustrated by Chris Sprouse. The covers can be seen below.

The new series has seen the Rebels shattered and scattered after the disastrous Battle of Hoth. And with the Galactic Empire relentlessly hunting them, Leia and Zahra are slated for an inevitable collision course soon.
