To herald the arrival on the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer during the broadcast of Monday Night Football, the Disney-owned ESPN has released a teaser showing Daisy Ridley's Rey in the middle of her Jedi training, using the lightsaber that once belonged to Luke Skywalker and his father.

The 10-second clip is set to what sounds like an ominous snippet from "The Imperial March," perhaps better known as Darth Vader's theme, which may further hint that we'll learn more about Luke's apparent disenchantment with the Jedi and their harnessing of the light side of the Force.

Star Wars has a bit of a history with Monday Night Football, as the trailer for J.J. Abrams' The Force Awakens aired in 2015 during a game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.
