Fans may only have to wait another two weeks until the release of the new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.RELATED: Star Wars: The Last Jedi Wraps Post-ProductionFranchise fan site Star Wars News Net has confirmed the sequel's second trailer will be released on Oct. 9. If this date holds true, it syncs with a since-deleted tweet from Mark Hamill, who last week responded to a fan's question about the trailer by recommending he watch Monday Night Football on Oct. 9. The first trailer for The Last Jedi premiered in April.

Seeing as how ESPN is owned by Disney, it makes sense for the newest trailer to debut there. It wouldn't be the first time a Star Wars trailer aired during Monday Night Football: One for The Force Awakens aired in 2015 during a game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.
