Star Wars: Get Your Green Milk Fix with This Thala-Siren Mashup Statue

There was a lot going on in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The movie had the taunting task of bridging the gap between J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens and the upcoming final entry in the trilogy, all while balancing stories about Rey’s training at the hands of Luke Skywalker, a lesson in class inequality in the form of Canto Bight and Kylo Ren finally standing up for himself in the most climactic way possible.

Somehow, though, Johnson managed to work in a scene about Luke drinking green milk drawn from the teats of an enormous space walrus called a Thala-Siren. Now, you can have that moment immortalized in an incredibly unnerving statue that goes the extra step of putting the Thala-Siren in the same garment worn by Princess Leia in Return of the Jedi.

The statue is the work of Mike Strick, a sculptor who is actually selling the figure in limited quantities for the low, low price of $55. According to Strick’s site, the statue is about 120mm wide and 90mm high. The statue is cast in resin, painted by hand, signed and numbered. According to the statue description, the Thala-Siren/Princess Leia mashup is just a bit smaller than the usual 3.75-inch figure dimensions, but “displays well with them, pretty much looking them in the eye despite lying down.”

Check out the gallery and ask yourself if you’d be able to stare down this stately beast if it meant getting your hands on that sweet, sweet green milk.
