Star Wars: The Last Jedi fans are still trying to catch their breaths after the trailer that debuted during ESPN's Monday Night Football, but the ride is only just beginning for those anticipating the Rian Johnson-directed sequel. IMAX has already gotten in on the early action by revealing an exclusive poster and a collectible ticket as part of it giveaways on the movie's opening night on Dec. 15.
Shortly after the trailer premiered, IMAX tweeted out images of the items, with the poster depicting Luke Skywalker overseeing Rey's training in the ways of the Force on the cliffs of the isolated planet Ahch-To, picking up where The Force Awakens left off.
While this illustrated poster is vibrant and full of light and color, the collectible ticket adheres to the red hue of most of The Last Jedi's promotional content, which hint at a much stronger presence of the Dark Side this time around.
The ticket shows a pensive Rey, hair blowing in the wind, with a cloaked Luke in the background -- matching the tone of the latest poster released by Lucasfilm, further foreshadowing ominous days to come in the fight against Supreme Leader Snoke, Kylo Ren and the First Order.
Debuting in theaters on Dec. 15, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro.
