A new promo for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker shows the Knights of Ren assembled together as the First Order and its overwhelming forces prepare to take on the Resistance.

The TV spot, titled "Fate," was posted to the Star Wars YouTube channel. The footage shows the various major players of the movie and gives additional context to some previously seen scenes from the film. In the TV spot, the Knights of Ren are gathered together on a plateau. Sith Troopers also appear briefly towards the end of the footage.

Little is known about the Knights of Ren at this time, including why they've been largely absent from the other two movies in the sequel trilogy. The group has been featured in some promotional material for the upcoming movie, which Lucasfilm touts as the end of the Skywalker Saga that started in 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives on Dec. 20.
