It was announced in 2019 that Marvel Studios president Paul Feige will be producing a Star Wars movie. Since then, it has been speculated that the Marvel Cinematic Universe producer may be involved in other projects related to the iconic franchise.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Feige made it clear this is the only Star Wars project he has plans to work on. Regarding any other Star Wars-related films or shows he stated, "That's all Kathy Kennedy," adding, "I'm involved in as much as I stay up until midnight L.A. time to watch new episodes of The Mandalorian when they drop."

This puts to rest any rumors Feige might be involved with one of the numerous Star Wars series coming to Disney+ in the next few years. Disney has announced a long list of upcoming Star Wars series, including Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando and The Acolyte. Another series, Obi-Wan Kenobi has already begun production.

There are no specifics as to when Feige's Star Wars project will move forward, in the meantime he does have plenty of other things in the works with Disney+. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a list of upcoming series almost as long as that of Star Wars. Forthcoming projects set in the MCU include Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and What If...?
