Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige already has a major actor in mind for his Star Wars movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source close to the situation claims Feige has already informed this actor that there's a specific role available to them in this new film. At the time of writing, there are no other clues about who Feige has in mind for this as-yet unknown role.

Feige reportedly met with Lucasfilms' Kathleen Kennedy and Disney studio co-chairmen Alan Horn and Alan Bergman during late summer to discuss becoming involved with the Star Wars franchise.

In a statement, Horn said, "We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company, including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox. With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together."

Kennedy has been president of Lucasfilm since 2012. Feige helmed Marvel Studios since 2008's Iron Man, helping to launch the popular Marvel Cinematic Universe. This Star Wars partnership will be the first collaboration between the two.
