Ewan MacGregor has not lost his inner child yet thanks to his nostalgic experience on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

MacGregor spoke about his encounter with two Stormtroopers on the set of the series as he and Pedro Pascal reminisced about their work in the Star Wars universe for Variety's Actors on Actors series.

"I'd never seen a Stormtrooper. So I was walking past them... I turned around -- and I was 6 years old again," McGregor said. He explained that he got used to seeing clones during the production of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sithbut not the Stormtroopers prominently featured in the original trilogy.

MacGregor continued, "I had another scene with a little Jawa," calling attention to the quirky race of traveling merchants who inhabit the arid planet in the Outer Rim. Remembering his early impressions of the first three Star Wars films, the seasoned actor could not help but display a revitalized enthusiasm for the entire space saga. "I was feeling like I was 6 again or something, because I'm so close to one and I got a fright, you know? So crazy."
