In anticipation of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's release, Electronic Arts shared a new trailer that hints at Cal's secret mission in the upcoming game.
The trailer hits the ground running -- literally -- as former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis is pursued by a masked Sith Inquisitor, who hunts him as part of the Galactic Empire's galaxy-wide purge of the Jedi that began in Revenge of the Sith. Barely escaping with his life, Cal joins a new mission, which sets the main story of the game into motion.
In order to uncover long-lost secrets of the Force and the fallen Jedi, Cal is tasked with venturing into ancient, abandoned civilizations in forgotten reaches of the galaxy to help turn the tide of the growing rebellion against the Empire and resurgent Sith.
The trailer features a mix of in-game cinematics and gameplay footage, teasing plenty of lightsaber battles in breathtaking new worlds as Cal is pursued by the Inquisitor and specialized Imperial troops.
Developed by Respawn and published by Electronic Arts, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Nov. 15. Gotham star Cameron Monaghan provides the voice of Cal.
