This is not the first time that a Respawn job listing has foreshadowed a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Soon after the game was released in November 2019, Respawn shared a job posting for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop an unrevealed title in the Star Wars franchise. The developer also shared opportunities for a level designer and senior character artist.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order took place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope in the Star Wars timeline and followed the story of Jedi apprentice Cal Kestis as he tried to rebuild the Jedi Order. The game recently received a surprise update for next-gen consoles, allowing the game to run at 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The update also provided improvements to the game’s dynamic resolution ranges and post-processing resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but not on Xbox Series S.

One fan of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order created a mod to allow players to replace protagonist Cal Kestis with the Mandalorian from the hit Disney+ series. While the mod allows players to play through the campaign with the Mandalorian’s shiny Beskar armor, the mod’s designer AlexP021 said that he plans to add more. His plans included making the jetpack, blaster and flamethrower all functional.

Published by Electronic Arts and developed by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
