At today's panel at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago for Respawn Entertainment's upcoming action title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the studio confirmed the game's release date: Nov. 15.The announcement of the release date was actually slightly preempted by the Star Wars Twitter, which revealed it a few minutes before the official announcement. There were also reports that this would be the release date yesterday, as it appeared on some merchandise for the game.
The game will be developed by Respawn Entertainment, the same studio behind Apex Legends and Titanfall. Fallen Order is a single-player, third-person video game set between the events of the films Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope. The story follows a Padawan, Cal Kestis, who managed to survive Order 66, but must now face the wrath of a ruthless Empire. Cal must avoid the Jedi-hunting Inquisitors, who are searching for Force-users who managed to escape and, in an effort to survive, accepts a dangerous job to keep his head low.
Fallen Order will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and features Gotham star Cameron Monaghan as protagonist Cal Kestis.
