Cal Kestis' story is not yet done as more installments are coming for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

During a conference call, EA CEO confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is “the first title in an entirely new franchise.” While there was no official word on a sequel, given that Fallen Order was both a critical and commercial success, it makes sense that EA would develop more games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order follows the life of Cal Kestis, a former Padawan who survived the events of Order 66. When circumstances force him to reveal his life as a Jedi, Cal meets the crew of the Stinger Mantis, which includes former Jedi Master Cere Junda. Cal searches for a Jedi Holocron that contains a list of Force-sensitive children, all the while dodging Darth Vader's Inquisitors and completing his Jedi training. The game recently received an update in celebration of Star Wars Day.

The Star Wars development team at Respawn Entertainment posted job listings last December for a senior software engineer, level designer and senior character artist. This hints that work on a sequel may start soon; but again, nothing concrete has been confirmed.

Published by Electronic Arts and developed by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
