The inquisitors have risen in popularity among Star Wars fans ever since they were first introduced in Rebels. The chilling visage of the Grand Inquisitor instilled fear into those he came into contact with, and while they were weaker than their leader, the Inquisitorius' Brothers and Sisters were just as terrifying.

Once they had been corrupted to the dark side, the Inquisitors no longer went by their original names and instead were numbered, referred to only as Brother or Sister. While fans have seen at least 13 different Inquisitors across several Star Wars media, only nine have been named as a Brother or Sister. Two remain unnamed, one was referred to by the name Iskat, and the other is the Grand Inquisitor himself.

9 Second Sister

Trilla Suduri

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Cal Fighting Second Sister

The Second Sister made her first brief appearance in the 19th issue of the Darth Vader (2017) comics, but her rise to fame came with the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order where she served as the main antagonist for hero Cal Kestis.

Fallen Order helped develop Second Sister, depicting her as a terrifying and at times sympathetic adversary. Her appearance was strikingly similar to that of Darth Vader, including a helmet that hid her face. Second Sister was extremely intelligent and powerful, but was eventually killed by Vader for her failure.

8 Third Sister

Reva Sevander

Reva Sevander from Star Wars/Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series introduced fans to Reva Sevander, otherwise known as Third Sister. Reva gets more screentime than any other Inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi and is shown to be somewhat overzealous compared to her comrades in her hunt for Kenobi.

Third Sister even turned on the Grand Inquisitor at one point, stabbing him for getting in her way. Reva briefly served as Grand Inquisitor before she showed her true intentions and attempted to attack Vader. Although left for dead by Vader, she survived and her fate was left open.

7 Fourth Sister

Name Unknown

Fourth Sister

The Fourth Sister is somewhat of a mystery. Her first mention was in issue 4 of Star Wars Adventures: Return to Vader's Castle where she was impersonated. All fans got to see at first was her armor.

She eventually made an actual appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi alongside other inquisitors. Fourth Sister does not play a large role in the series. Despite this, her sharp tone in her few lines make her come off imposing enough.

6 Fifth Brother

Name Unknown

From Star Wars Rebels, Fifth Brother wields the Inquisitors' double-bladed lightsaber.

Fifth Brother is a terrifying character who seems to be start out fairly level-headed – as seen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series– but becomes quite vicious as time goes on – as seen in Rebels. His helmet also sets him apart from the other inquisitors.

Fifth Brother was a very strong and large figure, which he used against his victims who were often smaller than him. He preferred brute force to strategy and his sinister appearance with sharp teeth bared would have struck fear into those around him. That said, his strength was not enough to fight off Maul.

5 Sixth Brother

Bil Valen

Star Wars Sixth Brother Vader comic

He was first mentioned in the 2016 novel Ahsoka, but the Sixth Brother was first pictured in issue 6 of the Darth Vader comic. Sixth Brother was a member of an unidentified race with pale blue skin and scar-like markings on his face.

Sixth Brother was ruthless, enjoyed killing innocents, and even cut Ninth Sister's leg off to ensure his own safety when they were attacked. His overconfidence led to his death at Ahsoka's hand, and it was his lightsaber crystals that Ahsoka cleansed to make her white lightsabers.

4 Seventh Sister

Name Unknown

Seventh Sister Rebels

Making her first appearance alongside Fifth Brother in Rebels, Seventh Sister was just as intimidating as her cohort, albeit for different reasons. She caused plenty of problems for the Spectres and assisted in stealing Force-sensitive children across the galaxy.

Being the opposite of Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister was crafty in battle and used her quick wit to win encounters over pure force. She liked to tease her opponents, often taking a flirty tone, to keep them off guard, and would employ droids as sneaky a backup. Seventh Sister fell to Maul on Malachor.

3 Eighth Brother

Name Unknown

Eighth Brother

The Eighth Brother was the third of the "sibling inquisitors" to make an appearance on Rebels. He always wore a full helmet, so his face was never seen, but he had a very petite and limber build. This made him a very quick opponent, and he was good at acrobatics.

Eighth Brother tended to be impulsive and aggressive causing him to rush into combat. However, if he knew he wouldn't win, he would quickly get away. In his final battle, Eighth Brother tried to retreat but fell to his death when his damaged lightsaber malfunctioned.

2 Ninth Sister

Masana Tide

Ninth Sister Fighting Cal Kestis

Alongside Second Sister, Ninth Sister hunted Jedi survivor Cal Kestis. Ninth Sister was a Dowutin, a race known for its massive size and facial tusks. She used her size to her advantage and easily overpowered most opponents.

Ninth Sister had a cybernetic leg after being betrayed by Sixth Brother and lost an eye courtesy of Vader. Despite losing her hand in the duel, Ninth Sister was able to use the Force to wield her blade before Kestis killed her on Kashyyyk.

1 Tenth Brother

Prosset Dibs

Tenth Brother

The Tenth Brother was first introduced to fans in Jedi of the Republic - Mace Windu as Prosset Dibs. He was the only inquisitor to have formerly been a Jedi Master and was disillusioned with the Order before the Jedi Purge began. He even attempted to kill Mace Windu for the hypocrisy he saw in Windu and the Order.

Tenth Brother had a striking appearance as he was a Miraluka, meaning he looked human but did not have eyes. Unlike other inquisitors, he wore very little armor and wielded two small lightsabers instead of the spinning lightsaber. Tenth Brother was killed when his troopers were tricked by a Jedi into carrying out Order 66 on the inquisitors.
