Asajj Ventress has slowly become one of the most popular villains of the Star Wars universe. We haven't gotten a chance to see almost any female villains in Star Wars, so Ventress was a refreshing change of pace. Fans' reaction seemed to hint at the fact that there is a demand for more characters like Asajj.

Given her status as a cult-favorite character, Asajj Ventress has become a perfect candidate for cosplay. Many cosplayers of all kinds have taken on Ventress and given their own take of the character. Here are 10 absolutely incredible Asajj Ventress cosplays.

10 Annie Ragnarek

Annie Ragnarek shows her elite skill as a cosplayer with this interpretation of Asajj Ventress. First off, the glowing red lightsabers are a nice touch that really helps bring this interpretation of the character closer to reality.

The glow from Annie's lightsabers looks beautiful as it highlights her very accurate costume. The cosplayer's facial makeup is seriously on point, giving Star Wars fans a perfect look at the villain they had grown to love over the years.

9 Hannah Lees

Another great addition to the wide variety of Asajj Ventress cosplay is the beautiful interpretation done by Hannah Lees. The almost silvery facial makeup that Lees used to reflect Asajj's pale skin gives her an almost otherworldly look, which fits in well for a character that is an alien and supposedly lives in a galaxy far, far away.

The flowing skirt and wrap around her midsection and arms also speak to the fierce yet feminine aspect of this character. Although the materials don't look quite as complex as some of the other costumes on this list, Lees still did a great job at emulating that character, proving you can do a lot with a little.

8 Lara Valentine

Lara Valentine decided to lean into more of the black and white theme of Asajj Ventress rather than some of her more colorful outfits such as the blue one that previous cosplayers on this list decided to go with.

The leather materials of her boot and skirt really contrast well with the long purple sash Valentine has tied around her waist. Overall, she did an amazing job capturing the sinister overtones that this Star Wars character is known for giving off.

7 Tifaia

What cosplayer Tifaia does a great job at capturing is the evil, dark nature of a Nightsister assassin of the Sith. Clearly you can tell that this Asajj is an incredibly dangerous adversary willing to go to great lengths to murder her enemies.

The black leather of the skirt matched with the long, black gloves is a great contrast to the white shirt and pale, white skin of Asajj's face. Simply put, this is a great cosplay by a clearly experienced cosplayer with a lot of love for the Star Wars character.

6 Venus Lim

Asajj Ventress served as an assassin to the Sith. While not actually a Sith Lord herself, Asajj Ventress was a skilled forced user that utilized her abilities as she went on to murder many enemies of the Sith Lords.

No other cosplay on this list better reflects the nature of an assassin than this dark, hooded outfit by the cosplayer known as Venus Lim. One thing that Lim understood was Ventress is a character shrouded in mystery. She used this fact as a huge influence on her costume, demeanor, and even the lighting in the room as she was taking pictures of her interpretation of Asajj.

5 Issabel

Issabel went in a slightly different direction when it came to her facial makeup. Really focusing in on the black streaks of paint on Asajj Ventress's face, Issabel came up with a very unique look for the warrior of the Sith.

In addition to that, the torso section of this cosplayer's costume stands out among the rest as well. The material doesn't feel like it's part of a costume to be worn at some convention. It actually feels like something an assassin of the Sith might wear.

4 Mara Von Entropy

As we get deeper into the bottom half of this list, the entries by these cosplayers continue to feel more and more realistic looking. Mara Von Entropy, for example, gives us an absolutely stunning look at Asajj posing on what appears to be a war-torn battlefield.

Another example of a cosplayer using realistic materials, Entropy's Asajj Ventress feels grounded in the world that she is supposed to live in. The imperfect application of the makeup makes it look a bit smeared, which is something that an assassin warrior would have to deal with in the midst of battle.

3 Elena Samko

Poised and ready for battle, Elena Samko's Asajj Ventress is on the verge of killing some enemies of the Sith in this awesome image. Something just seems a little too uncanny about Samko's Ventress, and that's a very good thing.

Asajj, an enemy of the Jedi and all of their allies, needs to come off as a bit creepy. Elena Samko's cosplay doesn't merely succeed at this, it does so with the near-perfect application of the makeup, costume,  and weaponry.

2 Schaloime

Schaloime shows off her ability to create incredibly intricate cosplay with this addition of Asajj Ventress. What makes her cosplay stand out amongst all the others is the facial makeup and contact lenses.

Her face doesn't look like it has any makeup applied to it. It merely looks as though Schaloiome has transformed into Asajj Ventress with pale, white, creepy skin to match her fierce outfit, well-suited for an assassin.

1 Miss Sinister

Far and above the greatest cosplay of Asajj Ventress that has ever been done. Miss Sinister is an appropriately named cosplayer that truly captures the dark essence of the Star Wars character with this costume

Not only that, but Miss Sinister also fully embodies the role in the ways she poses for the camera. Many cosplayers often forget that one of the most important aspects of cosplay is actually acting. You need to fully embody the character in order to make the cosplay as effective as possible. Miss Sinister does this and, because of that fact, gives us the best cosplay of Asajj Ventress that we have ever seen.
