Director Ron Howard has shared a photo from the set of the Star Wars Han Solo film showing an Imperial helmet resting on what appears to be a microphone and control panel.
The filmmaker captioned the image, "The Empire Looms Large," which is not only definitive proof that the Galactic Empire appears in the film but also an indication it will have a significant presence.

Since assuming directing duties, Howard has released several set photos, including images of him scolding a droid, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, a closet filled with costumes, and two behind-the-scenes videos featuring a junkyard that will appear in the film.
Howard became director for the untitled Star Wars anthology film following the firing of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Howard has reassured fans that production is "coming along great," a sentiment reiterated by Glover.
Based on a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, the Han Solo film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams and Woody Harrelson. The as-yet-untitled movie arrives on May 25, 2018.
