One doesn't need to be Force-sensitive in order to earn a reputation of a great warrior in the Star Wars galaxy. Certain legendary fighters who are unable to utilize this ultimate power have not only proven themselves on various battlefields but some of them have even defeated superiorly trained Jedi and Sith.

Some of them are inspired, independent adventurers, which have won their battles as they were seeking their fortune. Others are hardened, battle-tested veterans, which were forced to kill in a war zone and made their way out through guts and skill. Here are the 10 greatest warriors in the Star Wars universe that are not trained in the ways of the Force.

10 IG-88B

A merciless robot-assassin that first made his appearance way back in The Empire Strikes Back, IG-88B recently returned to the spotlight through The Mandalorian. His aim was perfect because of his ability to track (and gun down) multiple enemies simultaneously via special sensors.

Furthermore, he couldn't be flanked because his torso and his shooting arms could do a full 360 degrees rotation at any point. His preferred weapons of choice were poison darts, blasters and pulse cannons. He could take out a battalion of Stormtroopers with ease.

9 Durge

A worthy representative of one of the oldest species in the galaxy - the Gen'Dai, Durge from The Clone Wars and Gendy Tartakovsky's series was another great warrior who gave the Jedi a whole lot of trouble.

Durge was incredibly difficult to kill because of his species' natural regeneration abilities, which explains why he lived for more than 2000 years. His muscly body could regrow itself quickly and recover from almost any injuries. Additionally, he was armed with highly resilient armor and only the greatest of Jedi could best him.

8 Han Solo

The galaxy's most popular and hated/loved smuggler, Han Solo proved his qualities as a warrior on multiple occasions during his support of the cause of the Rebellion and the Resistance. His prized jewel was the old but undoubtedly efficient ship The Millenium Falcon.

Solo was an outstanding shooter and a terrific pilot and had a key role in the downfall of the Empire. Furthermore, his close relations with the Skywalkers made him pretty much invulnerable up until the moment his son turned to the Dark Side.

7 Chewbacca

Han's best friend and the co-pilot of the Falcon, the several-hundred years old Chewie was an excellent pilot, shooter and was in possession of the Wookies' innate ferocity and strength. Additionally, Chewbacca proved to be a highly efficient technician.

Sadly, he outlived all the members of the Skywalker family and his best friend, but that is another proof for his experience, wits, and survival capabilities. A participant in some of the Galaxy's biggest major conflicts and a distinguished war hero, Chewbacca was a challenge for any foe.

6 Jace Malcom

A Republic trooper that was part of the Special Forces Division, Jace Malcom was a war hero that performed incredible feats in the battle of Alderaan from the Great Galactic War.

As depicted in the cinematic trailer for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, Jace was utterly fearless in the face of Darth Malgus' Force powers and his Sith allies, charging, tackling and causing wide-spread devastation to the enemy forces. His exceptional close combat skills and utter selflessness allowed him to wound Malgus before his future romantic partner Jedi Knight Satele Shan finished the villain off.

5 Boba Fett

One of the Galaxy's most notorious bounty hunters and an acquaintance of Darth Vader himself, Boba Fett was as deadly as his father - Jango Fett. He inherited a powerful space ship - Slave I, which he used throughout his career.

Boba established a bounty hunter syndicate, which included members that displayed total devotion to their leader. Fett fought with regular Mandalorian weaponry and armor, including a jet pack. His most famous accomplishment is escaping the Sarlacc that consumed him in Return of the Jedi.

4 Din Djarin

Popular for defending the force-sensitive Child against Moff Gideon's forces, Din Djarin, aka Mando was a Mandalorian. He was one of the most skilled members of the Bounty Hunters' Guild.

His superior fighting abilities, powerful ship - the Razor Crest and his proficiency with weaponry - knives, guns, rifles gave him the reputation of an expert fighter. Also, Djarin's defense was boosted by his powerful armor, which he received as payment for delivering the Child.

3 General Grievous

Arguably, the greatest warrior in the history of Star Wars who is incapable of using the Force, General Grievous has caused a ridiculous amount of damage to the Republic. He was one of the central figures in the Clone Wars and was famously the killer of many members of the Jedi Order, a feat that can be observed in Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith.

His robotic body granted him a terrifying level of agility and speed along with evasion capabilities. Since he could fight with 4 sabers at the same time, Grievous' formidable lightsaber combat training was a problem for all Jedi.

2 Cad Bane

Cad Bane maintained a high standard when picking his opponents. Despite not being able to count on the Force, his specialty was fighting Jedi Knights. He was hired by some of the most dangerous individuals in the galaxy, such as Darth Sidious.

Cade's breathing tubes made him resistant to Force Chokes. Bane was armed with a flamethrower, a pair of blasters and could easily escape danger through his rocket boots. The name of his spacecraft was Xanadu Blood and he flew it in a way only a master pilot can.

1 Pre Vizsla

Pre Vizsla

Another Mandalorian who went down a much darker path is Pre Vizsla. He ended up being in charge of the Death Watch, a powerful terrorist organization. What was even more frighteningly impressive about him was his extreme efficiency in close combat and shootouts.

He was in possession of a rare weapon called the Darksaber - a lightsaber glowing in black, which enabled him to put up a fight against legendary Force users like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul.
