Raf Grassetti, the art director for PlayStation's God of War, recently shared his take on a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano in her outfit from Season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Grassetti debuted the image of Ahsoka Tano on his Instagram, showing her clutching both of her blue lightsabers and looking ready for battle. "Who else is excited for Mandalorian? Cant wait to see what @dave.filoni @jonfavreau and @doug_chiang have planned for Ahsoka on the season," Grassetti wrote on the caption for the post.

In the art, Ahsoka Tano bears a striking resemblance to actor Rosario Dawson, who was cast in Season 2 of The Mandalorian earlier this year. While reports said that she was set to portray Ahsoka, the actress has downplayed those rumors.

Ahsoka Tano is a fan-favorite character. First appearing in Star Wars: The Clones Wars as Anakin Skywalker's apprentice, she has had quite the character arc. Fans were able to travel through Ahsoka's story, seeing her develop into a fighter for the light side through the course of Clone Wars as well as Star Wars Rebels. The character has never seen a live-action version, though, so her appearance on The Mandalorian would mark this as the first time fans get to see her in the flesh.

This piece comes shortly after Grassetti gave fans a look at Darth Maul with two lightsabers at hand, one red and the other being the legendary Darksaber, which made its first live-action appearance at the end Season 1 of The Mandalorian in the hands of Moff Gideon.

Grassetti is no stranger to designing lifelike takes on beloved fictional characters. His Instagram is filled with creative versions of characters from the Marvel and DC universes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and even the space crew from the popular Among Us video game.

At the end of his post, Grassetti wrote "Cad Bane next?", suggesting that the Clone Wars character will be the target of his next project. As far as The Mandalorian goes, fans will have to wait to see if Grassetti's depiction of Rosario Dawson is to be made canon in the television show. It was recently revealed by Disney+'s German account that Dawson is a part of the cast, but who she is playing still remains a mystery.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. New episodes arrive Fridays on Disney+.
