The Disney attraction Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has been offering Coca-Cola products in exclusive containers cleverly designed to resemble thermal detonators - the grenade-like explosives seen throughout the Star Wars Universe. While the containers might seem like the perfect keepsakes, visitors won't be able to bring them home if they're flying, however, as the items have been banned by the Transportation Security Administration.

The containers, empty or not, fall under the TSA's ban on replicas of weapons and inert explosives, meaning they cannot be packed in either checked or carry-on luggage. The ban has come as a surprise to many of the theme parks first visitors, who believed the containers would be worthwhile souvenirs to take home.

Curiously, the ban does not extend to other replica weapons, like hand-built lightsabers. Visitors who build their own lightsaber at the attraction will not face any issues, as the technology to create a functioning lightsaber doesn't exist in real life. The TSA therefore allows such replicas in packed luggage, according to the agency's website.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge visitors can also build their own functioning droids for their own amusement. There's no TSA ban on these items, either - provided they fit the TSA's dimensional requirements for checked and carry-on bags.
