Visitors will soon be able to set reservations at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge addition to the Disneyland theme park.

The new area of the park is set to open to the public at the end of May, and tickets are sure to sell out in record time. Thankfully, Disney has now revealed when fans can begin booking their trips.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, potential visitors to Galaxy's Edge will be able to reserve tickets beginning May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. Although there's no additional reservation fee, availability is subject to change. You'll also need an official Disney account to make the reservation.

The park will allow people to explore the Star Wars universe in a personalized manner, as they side with either the Resistance or the First Order. The easiest way for visitors to ensure they get the chance to be among the first to explore the Galaxy's Edge area is to also set a reservation at an official Disney Resort Hotel, as those staying between May 31 and June 23 will receive a designated reservation for Galaxy's Edge.
