After years of development, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will finally open in Disneyland next month, giving fans the opportunity immerse themselves in that galaxy far, far away when they visit the theme park.
Walt Disney World's official website has posted concept art and descriptions for two stores within the theme park expansion, one modeled after the First Order and the other after the Resistance.
First Order Cargo will allow visitors to purchase merchandise modeled after the successors to the Galactic Empire, from apparel and accessories to collectibles and toys. Similarly, Resistance Supply will have merchandise inspired by the General Organa-led faction opposing the First Order throughout the galaxy from a makeshift outpost in an ancient ruin within a forested planet.
Both shops are scheduled to open with the rest of the Galaxy's Edge expansion to Disney Hollywood Studios this August. It is currently unknown if Disneyland's corresponding shops will also be open with the expansion next month.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland will open ahead of schedule on May 31, with the Galaxy's Edge featured in Disney World launching three months later on August 29.
