Fans of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios received a first look at its upcoming luxury hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which will feature interactive story experiences for its guests.

Disney Parks shared the first commercial for the two-night vacation package on YouTube. "For the first time, it's real," the narration began. A link in the video's description takes viewers to Disney World's website, which provides more information about Galactic Starcruiser and what's included in the two-night getaway. "Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a revolutionary new 2-night experience where you are the hero," the description read. "You and your group will embark on a first-of-its-kind Star Wars adventure that's your own. It's the most immersive Star Wars story ever created -- one where you live a bespoke experience and journey further into a Star Wars adventure than you ever dreamed possible."

The commercial included some of the possible story moments that guests will be able to partake in, including having drinks in the ship's Sublight Lounge and being recruited by the Resistance. Guests will also be able to train with "real" lightsabers, which were shown off in a previous promo video for Galactic Starcruiser. The commercial ended with a look at one of the hotel's standard cabins as a young daughter informs her dad, "We've gotta go save the ship." The dad responds, "No, we're gonna save the galaxy."

A sample itinerary lays out a good idea of the type of activities guests of the hotel can take part in. Alongside lightsaber training and cocktails at the Sublight Lounge, guests will also train in sabacc, race droids, have a galactic dinner and take a shuttle to the planet Batuu to spend a day at Galaxy's Edge. The itinerary also includes possible story moments and showcases how your interaction can branch down different story paths. Many commenters noted the high price required to stay at the Galactic Starcruiser hotel. The price for a group of two will cost about $4800 while a family of four will need to pay $6000.

Galaxy's Edge recently added Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa's respective lightsaber hilts to its Legacy Lightsaber collection. The lightsabers are available to buy at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities in Galaxy's Edge, as well as outside the park at Disney Springs, for $375. The lightsaber hilt of Cal Kestis from the video game Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order will be added to the Legacy Lightsaber set later this year.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World Resort opens in spring 2022.
