Victoria Mahoney made history as the first woman to helm a Star Wars movie when she served as second unit director on Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerNow, Mahoney is about to helm a comic book film for Paramount Pictures.

Mahoney is in talks to helm the adaptation of Oni Press' graphic novel Kill Them All for Paramount. The graphic novel, written and illustrated by Kyle Starks, is described as "a love letter to 1990s action movies." It features a cop and assassin teaming up to kill a crime lord who lives at the very top of a 15-story high-rise building. Naturally, the building is full of various killers.

James Coyne will write the screenplay, while screenwriters Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) serve as producers.

Mahoney's other credits include Yelling at the Sky, which stars The Batman's Zoe Kravitz, and an adaptation of the Octavia E. Butler novel Dawn under Amazon Studios and Ava Duvernay's ARRAY Filmworks. She has also directed episodes of Power and will helm an episode of the upcoming HBO series Lovecraft Country, where The Rise Of Skywalker's J.J. Abrams serves as an executive producer.
