Jon Favreau may have kickstarted the Marvel Cinematic Universe by directing 2008's Iron Man but now he's turned his sights on the Star Wars universe.Not only will he be writing and producing a new series for the franchise, he'll also be playing an alien called Rio Durant in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Excited fans can now look into some new details that Favreau himself has revealed concerning what he'll be doing in Ron Howard's highly-anticipated film.RELATED: Solo Denny’s Trading Cards, Promo Introduce New, Bizarre AliensFavreau tweeted out info regarding the four-limbed character he'll be voicing as part of Hot Wheels' "Battle Rollers" line. The toy's description reveals that his alien will be piloting an Imperial AT-Hauler, which fits in with the first look at the character in the Solo teaser trailer. There, we quickly glimpsed him, seemingly working for the Galactic Empire and piloting a vehicle, apparently under duress.

While it's unknown if he'll end up turning and joining Han Solo's team, which already includes the likes of Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca, it appears that once more fans have another cute alien to fall in love with in a galaxy far, far away.

Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi introduced us to the Porgs and now Howard is about to take that up a notch with Rio Durant getting stuck into the heat of things as Han's crew crosses paths with the Empire's army. With a new trailer airing tonight during American Idol, the final edit locked and the score completed, and more details emerging about Han's enemies, it's safe to say the hype is building.

Directed by Ron Howard from a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke as Qi’ra and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. They’re joined by Thandie Newton as Val, Phoebe Waller-Bridge L3-37, Paul Bettany as Dryden Vos and Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett. The film opens May 25.
