"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" lead actress Daisy Ridley and director JJ Abrams are teaming up for a new romantic sci-fi thriller titled "Kolma."

According to The Wrap, Ridely will star in the film and JJ Abrams will produce. Ridely is lined up to play the lead role -- a woman who at the very end of her life, gets to decide if she wants to be young again.

"Kolma" is based on a Jewish film called "All I've Got," in which a 72-year-old woman is crossing a ferry to the afterlife. While aboard the ferry, she sees the love of her life, whom she lost to a fatal car accident when they were in their twenties.

In the film, the woman must decide to to go back to that date and be reunited with her love, or pass on in her old age. Ridely will presumably play the younger version of the lead character. Her co-star and love interest has not yet been cast.

Marielle Heller is currently in talks to direct the film.
