To coincide with the release of the final trailer, Lucasfilm has revealed a new poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The poster puts the focus on Daisy Ridley's Rey, who is seen with her lightsaber drawn. Just behind her is the Millennium Falcon, with Adam Driver's Kylo Ren looming large in the background and sporting his repaired helmet. Rey and the former Ben Solo are seen again towards the bottom of the poster engaging in a lightsaber battle.

The film's other stars are also featured prominently. This includes returning characters such as John Boyega's Finn, Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, Billy Dee Williams' Lando Calrissian, Kelly Marie Tran's Rose Tico, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8, as well as new faces like Naomi Ackie's Jannah and Keri Russell's Zorri Bliss.

Moreover, while Carrie Fisher's General Leia Organa is not seen, the poster honors the late, great actress in another way. The bottom section of the poster -- which lists the film's cast and grew -- gives top billing to none other than Fisher herself. This is a rather fitting tribute to the beloved Star Wars star, given today is Fisher's birthday.

Fisher -- who made her name as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy -- passed away on Dec. 27, 2016 at the age of 60. She would have been 63 today. Fisher is slated to posthumously reprise her role in The Rise of Skywalker through the use of unreleased footage from 2015's The Force Awakens and 2017's The Last Jedi.
