This week saw the release of the second trailer for Captain Marvel, but if recent rumors are to be believed, that's only the tip of the iceberg. Ever-shifting speculation about the first Avengers 4 trailer has enthralled fans for weeks, and now, the latest rumors would have us believe the trailer will finally arrive on Friday. What's more, we might even get a Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer very soon as well. But that may not be all. Collider Editor-in-Chief Steven Wintraub indicates trailers for two more highly anticipated Disney films, Star Wars: Episode IX and Frozen 2, could arrive before Christmas.RELATED: Star Wars: Mark Hamill Has the Perfect Response for Episode IX Inquires

"To those wondering, December is ALWAYS a huge month for new trailers," Weintraub wrote. "If you're a Disney fan, you can look forward to the first footage from #Frozen2 and @starwars episode 9 this month. Would be shocked if both aren't revealed by December 25th." Of course, this isn't exactly a confirmation, but it does come from a reliable source.

What's more, that we are now in December means the final installment of Disney's current Star Wars trilogy is officially a year away. For comparison's sake, the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released at the end of the month of November 2014, a little more than a year before the movie's release on Dec. 18, 2015.

If Disney is following a similar plan to market Episode IX, then it would appear as if we could truly get the first trailer for the film before the holidays. Similarly, Frozen 2 has a release date of Nov. 27, 2019, which puts the animated sequel already less than a year away. If Disney is looking to hype its massive year ahead, then now is definitely the time to start.
