Caravan of Courage originally premiered on ABC on Nov. 25, 1984. The film revolves around a pair of siblings, who are aided by the Ewoks after being separated from their parents on the forest moon of Endor. It was followed by a sequel, The Battle for Endor, which premiered on ABC one year later on Nov. 24, 1985. In 2004, Caravan of Courage and The Battle for Endor were released as a double-feature DVD titled Star Wars: Ewok Adventures. These films will hit Disney+ the same day as ABC's 1985 Star Wars: Ewoks animated series, which arrives alongside 2003's Star Wars: Clone Wars.

The Story of the Faithful Wookiee -- the first official Star Wars cartoon -- originally aired as part of the Star Wars Holiday Special, which was broadcast on CBS on Nov. 17, 1978 -- a little over a year after the release of 1977's original Star Wars film. The animated segment has become famous for featuring the first on-screen appearance of Boba Fett, who would be introduced to live-action in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back. According to i09, a spokesperson for Lucasfilm confirmed there are currently no plans to put the rest of the Holiday Special on Disney+.
