Fans of The Mandalorian are in luck, as Disney+ is launching an eight-episode documentary about Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars series.

"Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together and some of the incredibly talented contributors throughout Season One," Favreau said. "We had a great experience making the show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you."

There will also be a who's who of the show's talent and never-before-seen footage, with topics including The Mandalorian's cutting-edge technology, how the various characters and creatures were brought to life, the score and the legacy of George Lucas' Star Wars saga.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Emily Swallow. Season 1 is streaming now on Disney+, with Season 2 slated to arrive in October. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, meanwhile, debuts May 4.
