With the conclusion to the trilogy, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, coming soon, fans are now likely to be revisiting The Last Jedi once again in preparation for their first viewing of its sequel—but don't count Daisy Ridley among them.

If you're competing with your friends on which of you have seen the last movie the most times, here's a guarantee: all of you have seen it more than its own star. Ridley, who plays Jedi-in-training Rey in The Rise of Skywalker as well as the two preceding Star Wars films, provided a commentary on the throne room scene of The Last Jedi for British GQ's Action Replay. In it, she claimed that she saw the film at its premiere and has yet to return for a full rewatch.

"I have only seen this film once," she announced, seated at a laptop to replay the relevant scene, "and it was two years ago, at a premiere."

Ridley didn't reveal whether there's a specific reason she has avoided rewatching the film, which had a mixed reception when it was first released, or whether she's just not the type to enjoy seeing the same movie multiple times. Prompted by the footage on her laptop, she easily brought up memories of shooting and how she felt at the time.

After Ridley sees Rey's return in The Rise of Skywalker, she may decide it's time for a marathon of the full series, just as countless devoted fans inevitably will. Either way, it's unlikely she'll ever catch up to their scores.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives December 20.
