For the last few weeks, the final season of Star Wars: TheClone Wars has mostly revolved around episodes that were left unfinished due to Disney purchasing Lucasfilms back in the early 2010s. So far, there hasn't been much in the way of answering questions that were still left on the table.

With only ten episodes left, it's going to be hard for the series to close the gate on every significant storyline that has occurred throughout the shows original run, but we're hoping the team at Lucas Ranch will be able to get the job done. So, we went through past episodes of Clone Wars and looked for eight important storylines that need closure by the end of the final season.

8 What's up on Mandalore?

When we last saw Mandalore, things weren't looking so good. Not only did Darth Maul and Pre Vizsla overthrow the queen of Mandalore, Satine, but Maul also kills her and Vizsla. After becoming Mandalore's ruler, Emperor Palpatine arrives and bests Maul.

Season six didn't do much to indicate what happened afterward. Is Mandalore part of the Empire? Is Palpatine forcing Maul to continue with his rule, as long as he serves him? We hope we get an answer to this and more, especially since we'll be seeing more of the Mandalorians in the future.

7 Where's the Dark Saber?

For the uninitiated, the Darksaber was a lightsaber used by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian, to become a Jedi. Pre Vizsla inherited from his ancestors but now is in the hands of both Maul and Palpatine after the former killed him when overthrowing him as Mandalore's ruler.

If you've watched Star Wars: Rebels, we know that the Saber somehow ends up back on Maul's home planet of Dathomir in the Nightsisters Lair. What made Darth Maul go and put it there? Did he keep it there so he could hide it from the Emperor? Maybe Clone Wars could explain that a little more and maybe hint on how Moff Gideon gets his hands on it.

6 Will Yoda reveal what he's learned on Korriban?

Season six ended on a pretty strong note that could've easily segued into Episode III. In the three-part finale, Yoda learns that the Clone Wars was just a distraction, and they were never going to win it. Instead, he discovers that another Skywalker will be the one to save the galaxy from the force of the Empire.

As of this writing, we've yet to see Yoda make an appearance on the final season of Clone Wars. Is he going to explain what he's learned? He could, at the very least, give some sort of excuse for running out on the Jedi counsel when he was supposed to be confined to his hospital room for rest.

5 How will it all tie into Revenge of the Sith?

We know what's going to happen to Anakin and Obi-Wan. We've known since the original trilogy that Obi-Wan and his former apprentice have a break-up that ends with the latter becoming Darth Vader.

Judging by the trailer, it seems that the series will tie-into the events of Revenge of the Sith. Will the fight between Ahsoka and Darth Maul take place during Obi-Wan's duel with Anakin? Will we have to see our favorite Jedi get eliminated again? We'll just have to wait for May to see how everything will play out.

4 Will we see how Rex and the crew survive Order 66?

During season six, Fives was able to uncover a secret program that has been implemented into the cloning program that will make Troopers kill the Jedi. We know that this will lead to Order 66, but will we see Rex and his crew make it out?

For those that haven't seen Rebels, Rex, along with two of his former soldiers(Wolffe and Gregger), show up alive and reveal that they had their chips removed before the events of Order 66. Could we possibly see Clone Wars show us how Rex, Wolffe, and Gregger got rid of their chips? It'd make for a compelling story arc to unfold.

3 Where's Asajj Ventress?

The last we saw of the fan-favorite villain, Asajj Ventress, she was helping Anakin and Ahsoka prove the latter's innocence in a crime that she was framed for. She's now a bounty hunter and still on the hunt for Duku.

We ultimately know what will happen to Duku and Maul by the time Revenge of the Sith and Rebels comes around, but we don't know about Asajj Ventress. Will we see the former Sith die in this final season? Is she still around during the events of the original trilogy or even the sequel series? Fans deserve to know what has become of Ventress after season five.

2 What's Ahsoka been up to?

Although Ahsoka had her name cleared after the season five finale, she decided to leave the Jedi Order. However, after the season one ending of Star Wars Rebels, we see that Ahsoka has kept up on her training with the Force and the way of the Jedi. She's practically become a Jedi Master in Rebels, being able to take on two Inquisitors and fight off Darth Vader.

The final season of Clone Wars promises to fill us in on what happens to Ahsoka between season five and seven, but we can't help but wonder how it will set her up for her appearance in Star Wars: Rebels.

1 What happened to Darth Maul?

Of all the characters we want to know the fate of in Clone Wars' final season, it's Darth Maul. After the Emperor killed his brother, he took Maul as his prisoner. In the season two finale of Rebels, we find Maul alive and well up to his evil tricks with Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka.

Throughout the remainder of the series, Maul never explains how he escaped the Emperor's clutches. Once again, the final season's trailer indicates that we will get to see what's become of Maul and will hopefully set up his appearance in Rebels.
