One of the most beloved female Star Wars characters of all time, Ahsoka Tano has been a force for good in the galaxy even in the darkest of times. She has not only fought the agents and the temptation from the dark side (with small exceptions) but has also stood as a beacon of hope for the freedom fighters who struggle against the evil of the sith.

Had Tano turned to the dark side of the Force, the Rebellion would have been doomed. Many fan artists who dare to depict a darker alternative version of Star Wars' history have created digital drawings depicting Ahsoka's evil version. Here are 10 of the best.

10 Greyskill

As far as dark side depictions of good Star Wars character go, Greyskill's piece is as entertaining and creepy as it gets. Ahsoka Tano was quite the wild and playful apprentice when it came to mastering the light side of the Force. The fan artist imagines that she won't be much different as her strength grows through the dark side. However, in this case, it is neither endearing nor cute - it is more so disturbing and terrifying - the idea of the fallen Jedi having genuine fun while killing her opponents.

9 Harben Pictures

With the inclusion of a pair of red lightsabers, a subtle change of the eye color, and a total change of Ahsoka's outfit (now fully in black), the heroine adopts the appearance of a proper villain in Harben-Pictures' piece. Anakin's apprentice has always been modest and undemanding when it came down to her appearance so the presence of gold on her costume is a subtle way to depict the concept that Ahsoka has lost her way.

8 Raikohlllust

Raikohlllust has an entire collection of fan art pieces depicting the evil version of Tano and this is one of his most unsettling and striking works. Ahsoka's head guard is spiky, her outfit is equipped with chest armor and her clothing is quite similar to that of her master after Anakin's conversion to the dark side.

But the most impactful change is the color of her eyes and the cold, hateful look inside - something that was glimpsed for a short period of time in The Clone Wars episode "Altar of Mortis", in which Tano was possessed.

7 SassyDreamer95

SassyDreamer95's portrait of Ahsoka presents her after the Jedi's transition to the dark side is completed. Nearly half her face is shrouded in shadow, which begs the question if she has suffered some sort of injury - a trademark feature for every sith warrior. She has replaced her lightsabers with a new one following Darth Vader's example, which will change her fighting style but that will be the least worrying aspect of the effects that the dark side will have on her.

6 Vic55b

Portraying more of an innately evil version of Ahsoka rather than a character that has succumbed to the influence of the dark side, Vic55b's piece shows a ferocious, yet terrifyingly beautiful blend of Tano and Darth Maul's appearances.

Dressed in armor and wearing a revealing outfit, which speaks of the sith's more careless and aggressive attitude, the female antagonist has ended the lives of a clone trooper, judging by the broken armament on the ground. It is a brutal tribute to her close relationship with the troops depicted in The Clone Wars series.

5 Geborro

Many of the artists that choose to create a dark side variation of Ahsoka include a Darth Vader element in their work and Geborro's is no exception. Anakin's former padawan is at peace with the choice she has made. The dark side has completely consumed her and she wears the cloak and the hood quite comfortably. As the ending of The Clone Wars hinted at, Vader still missed Ahsoka's presence and one way for their permanent reunion to happen was if Tano joined the dark side.

4 I-am-mighty

No portrayal of an evil Ahsoka is as unhinged and aggressive as I-am-mighty's. The fan artist had drawn the female force-user in one of her favorite attacking stances, which she applied against Vader. This is the depressing irony of the piece. While in the TV show, Ahsoka is using the attack to fight the sith, in I-am-mighty's work she is probably putting it to use in order to take out the Rebellion's allies. The malicious, demonic look in her eyes is equally terrifying as the searing blaze of her weapons.

3 INTY88

INTY88 presents Star Wars fans with an image of a different outcome for the Vader-Ahsoka relationship that is mostly bitter with a pinch of sweetness. In the artists' drawing the apprentice and the master appear to be in unusually intimate relations.

Anakin seems to be completely unharmed and they are dressed lavishly meaning that they are probably ruling the Empire. For this moment to be possible, Obi-Wan and Palpatine should be dead, and worst of all - that Skywalker should have forgotten about his love for the mother of his children.

2 Ujin Shamoney

One of the most breathtakingly gorgeous depictions of a dark side Ahsoka is the work of Ujin Shamoney. The fan has decorated her otherwise familiar appearance with horns, the typical yellow sith eyes, and last but not least - a suit of steel armor that appears to be remarkably threatening and resilient at the same time. The beast in the background is under her control; many great sith have demonstrated their unnatural powers by taking control or even creating formidable creatures with which to strike at their enemies.

1 Senetay

Ahsoka's sith glory doesn't stand out in any fan art piece out there better than it does in the work of Senetay. She is not a padawan anymore but a fully-fledged dark lord in search of an apprentice. The character's general aura of likability and visual splendor is somehow not lost here even though she has succumbed to the dark side's seduction. The dark cloak and her facial mask double her charisma. This version of Tano will surely attract many conflicted Jedi to choose the path of evil through her power and beauty.
