With this year's Star Wars Celebration less than two months away, the Chicago-based fan event celebrating all things Star Wars will have a special spotlight panel for The Phantom Menace.This year marks the 20th anniversary of the first Star Wars prequel, released in May 1999. Introducing the space opera franchise to a new generation of fans along with the rise of a young Anakin Skywalker in the Jedi Order as the Galactic Republic faced a resurgent Sith backed by the Trade Federation, the film divided audiences upon its initial release.RELATED: Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Rumored for Disney's Streaming Service

While it is currently unknown what the Monday panel will entail, it is virtually guaranteed some members of the cast and crew will appear though no details have been included with the panel's announcement.

Most individual days and all multi-day passes for this year's Star Wars Celebration have already sold out and the event has been rumored to be where LucasFilm will unveil the first trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX, providing fans a first official look at the eagerly anticipated sequel.

Star Wars Celebration 2019 will be held at McCormick Place West in Chicago from April 11-15.
