WATCH: Star Wars Celebration Pays Tribute to Carrie Fisher

Star Wars Celebration is taking place this weekend in Orlando, FL, with the anticipated "40 Years of Star Wars Panel" kicking off the festivities Thursday morning. The panel included, among others, Lucasfilm executive Kathleen Kennedy, "Star Wars" creator George Lucas, and actors Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford. Near the end of the panel, Kennedy and Lucas remembered a member of the "Star Wars" family who passed away at the end of 2016, Carrie Fisher, with a touching tribute video.

The nearly five-minute long video included behind-the-scenes interviews with Fisher; clips of her performances as Princess Leia in "A New Hope," "Empire Strikes Back," "Return of the Jedi," and "The Force Awakens"; lighter moments on set with the cast and crew, quotes from director J. J. Abrams, Gwendoline Christie, and Ford on what kind of person Fisher was and Princess Leia's influence on pop culture; and much more. The video spanned Fisher's entire acting career, all the way up to her death in December 2017.
