Danny Trejo's Rancor Keeper, two of the Mos Espa cyborg street gang and the water-monger Lortha Peel are featured in three new character posters from Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+.Released on the official Star Wars Twitter, the trio of posters features Trejo as the Keeper, Stephen Root's conniving Peel and two of the teen biker gang that joins Boba Fett's crime family: Drash (Sophie Thatcher) and Skad (Jordan Bolger). Each of the characters stands among the swirling orange sands of the desert planet Tatooine. The tweet caption starts with "A gift for you," which is a reference to the Hutt Twins' offering of a young Rancor to Fett as tribute in the latest episode of the series, "Chapter 3: The Street of Mos Espa".RELATED: The Book of Boba Fett Reveals How Bib Fortuna Held Onto Power

Each character plays a key role in the episode. The water-monger Peel requests an audience with Fett to address an issue with payment from the street gang for his wares. However, when Fett confronts the teens he finds they're being price-gouged by Peel for the precious resource and recruits the out-of-work band of enhanced ruffians to his own growing criminal enterprise. The Rancor Keeper appears with the Twins' tribute and helps Fett begin his training so that he may one day ride the beast.

The series has been rife with guest stars, Easter eggs and canonizations of past entries into the Star Wars franchise so far. Fett's own desire to ride the Rancor includes him referencing that he has ridden a beast "ten times" its size, a clear nod to the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. Eagle-eyed fans can even spot a character from The Mandalorian making a quick appearance in the background of the same episode: the engineer Peli Motto walks by with her droids in tow during a flashback scene.

With so many tributes to the rest of the universe of Star Wars, there has been some discussion with the star of the series, Temuera Morrison, if he might play some other roles going forward. Most notably, of course, would be the clones that are based on the DNA of Jango Fett, Boba's father. "Well, there are people -- I'm thinking of Captain Rex for one. He looks a little like me," Morrison said in a recent interview. There's Commander Cody. What happened to those guys? There's all those clone armies. That could be something fresh and new and exciting."

The Book of Boba Fett is currently streaming on Disney+ with new episodes each Wednesday.
