A fan-edit online changes Cad Bane in The Book of Boba Fett to more closely match his appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Posted to YouTube by Cinematic Captures, the video reworks Bane's appearance in the episode. In the video's description, Cinematic Captures chalked the reason for the show changing the way Bane looks up to his age. However, they decided to make the video after seeing people upset about those changes to Bane.

Created by Jon Favreau, The Book of Boba Fett takes place following the titular bounty hunter's return in The Mandalorian Season 2. So far, the plot has seen Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) attempting to insert themselves into Tatooine's criminal underworld after taking control of Jabba the Hutt's former territory. However, they've met with resistance from the people of Tatooine and the Pyke Syndicate.

The latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, "Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger," saw the Pike Syndicate hiring Cad Bane to ensure Mos Pelgo/Freetown remains neutral a coming battle. This resulted in Bane shooting Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) and his deputy.

Voiced by Corey Burton, Cad Bane first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 1 Episode 22, "Hostage Crisis." Since then, the fan-favorite bounty hunter has appeared in a number of different shows, including 2021's Star Wars: The Bad Batch. At one point, Bane served as a mentor to a young Boba Fett. However, the two eventually faced off in a duel that, while not confirmed, is thought to be canon based on hints in his more recent appearances.

Created by George Lucas, Star Wars began with an eponymous movie in 1977 that was later given the subtitle Episode IV: A New Hope. Since then, the franchise has become one of the biggest in the world, grossing billions of dollars worldwide thanks to the success of, among many other mediums, its films, merchandise and video games. The series officially made its jump to live-action TV with the first season of The Mandalorian in 2019.

New episodes of The Book of Boba Fett air Tuesdays on Disney+. The next episode of the series will be directed by Robert Rodriguez from a script by Favreau.
