It looks as if another The Mandalorian character could be getting a spinoff series on Disney+.

According to That Hashtag Show, a series centered on Bo-Katan Kryze is in the works. The show would star Katee Sackoff, who voiced the character on The Clone Wars and Rebels before reprising the role when it jumped to live-action for Season 2 of The Mandalorian. No other story details were revealed, but the alleged series is set to take place after The Mandalorian's upcoming third season.

Adding potential fuel to the fire of this report, The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett star Ming-Na Wen retweeted the report, offering her congratulations to Sackoff. Wen quickly deleted the tweet, however. This could mean Wen knows about the show and deleted the tweet as it's not official yet. But it could also be that she was simply learning the potential news from the report and deleted it once she realized it could be interpreted as confirmation.

Though fans of Bo-Katan will have to wait for a more official announcement, a series centered around the Mandalorian would come with plenty of story potential and a built-in audience. What's more, THS said that Bo-Katan was meant to factor into the canceled Rangers of the New Republic series, so it could be that this new rumored show will fill that voice.

Sackhoff has certainly expressed an interest in returning to the character. "The way that Lucasfilm left me in Season 2, one of the roads that could be gone down — absolutely, you'd think — would be the unfinished business," Sackhoff said of Bo-Katan in Sept. 2021. "But that is so far above my pay grade, and you just don't know, right? As a fan of the show, I'm just excited to see what they come up with."

The actor went on to discuss how she and The Clone Wars creator and The Mandalorian producer Dave Filoni have spoken about the future of the Bo-Katan.

"Dave and I talk a lot about Bo and her backstory and time lost and things like that, just because we enjoy talking about Star Wars and the characters," Sackoff said. "I definitely know a lot about who she is and where she's been and what's happened. So, yeah, I knew that kind of stuff for sure."
