Star Wars star Mark Hamill courted controversy recently when he shared an image depicting the reunion of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa and Lando Calrissian that never was, with some taking the post and his hashtag, #MissedOpportunities, as a jab at the new trilogy. Billy Dee Williams has now posted his response to Hamill's tweet.

"[Mark Hamill]....you should be used to getting everyone’s knickers in a twist......part of your charm man," he wrote on Twitter, retweeting Hamill's explanation of the tweet. Hamill joked that, instead of posting the photo, he should have just shared spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

Such a reunion is, of course, impossible, as Han Solo died during the events of The Force Awakens and Luke during The Last Jedi. Hamill has been vocal about the lack of a proper goodbye for the original trilogy characters. Hamill recently shared a picture of himself alongside Ford, saying it was what a Han/Luke reunion could've been like. Elsewhere, he's aired his grievances with The Last Jedi and spoken out about various missed opportunities, though he's also expressed his support for the film at other points in time.
