Electronic Arts has debuted a full-length trailer for "Star Wars Battlefront II" that not only offers a look at the rise of the First Order from the smoldering ruins of the Galactic Empire, but also promises combat across all eras of the blockbuster saga.

Arriving in November, "Battlefront II" introduces a new story mode that begins with the Battle of Endor and continues through the birth of the First Order. You'll play a new character, Commander Iden Versio, leader of the Galactic Empire’s elite Inferno Squad, who sees victory on Endor slip from her grasp with the destruction of the second Death Star. As Iden's team sets off on "an extraordinary odyssey of revenge, betrayal and redemption," players are taken on a 30-year journey from the events of "Return of the Jedi" to "The Force Awakens," encountering key figures from "Star Wars" history along the way.

What's more, you'll be able to take control of those characters which include Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, Kylo Ren and others, "from all three cinematic eras." In certain modes you'll be able to pit characters from different periods against each other. Planetary engagements will transport players to such locations as Theed, Takodana, Starkiller Base, Yavin, Mos Eisley, Endor and Hoth.

"Battlefront II" will include an expanded multiplayer mode and, undoubtedly to the cheers of many, a single-player campaign.

"Star Wars Battlefront II" arrives Nov. 17 worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
