A new mod for Star Wars Battlefront II lets you play as Baby Yoda.
The mod turns BB-8, who was just added to the game earlier this month in a new update, into The Mandalorian's "The Child." The mod only impacts the skin of the character, so, while players can't throw opponents around with the Force, they can utilize BB-8's lightning rod.
The update that brought Poe Dameron's trusty droid into the game also made his dark side counterpart, BB-9E, available for all.
The Mandalorian wrapped its first season in late December 2019 and has been renewed for a sophomore run. The discovery of Baby Yoda was the driving force behind Season 1, with remnants of the Galactic Empire hunting the infant. When we last saw "The Child," he was in the care of Pedro Pascal's Mandalorian.
Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and Emily Swallow. Season 1 is available now on Disney+ and Season 2 premieres in October.
