After over two years of free content, Star Wars Battlefront II is offering its final update on April 29.

The update will add the Battle of Scarif from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to the game as a playable map. Creative Director Dennis Brannvall released a statement online as well as a YouTube video detailing the Scarif update.

"Looking beyond April, we're transitioning to a phase where the servers, in-game challenges, recurring events such as Double XP and more, and game support will carry this broad and rich Star Wars gaming experience into the future," Brannvall said. "This means that we're moving away from delivering regular content updates. As the game lives on with the players and our community, we're looking forward to hearing your stories for years to come."

In addition to the Scarif map, new attire will be available for certain characters. Rey will wear her white robes from The Rise of Skywalker, Kylo Ren will don his reforged mask and Emperor Palpatine will wear the robes he sported on Exegol in The Rise of Skywalker's finale. Darth Maul will also have a new costume, paying homage to his "Old Master" look from Star Wars Rebels.
