The members of Clone Force 99 get the spotlight in a featurette for Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Viewers are greeted by a voiceover that states, "Some moments echo throughout the galaxy." We then hear Emperor Palpatine deliver the execution of Order 66, which activated a failsafe that turned the Republic's clone army against them and over to the Empire. As wars rage and empires rise, Palpatine returns once again to tell us that the Republic will be reorganized into the First Galactic Empire.

We're then formally introduced to the ragtag team of clone troopers, as the featurette breaks down each member of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. First up is Hunter, the leader of the Bad Batch who specializes in tracking and stealth. Next is the brawler Wrecker, who is the team's muscle. After Wrecker is Tech the Specialist, an expert data analyst. Echo is the hacker of the Bad Batch who wields a socket arm. Last is the marksman Crosshair, who flashes superior vision.

Each member of the Bad Batch has been altered by genetic mutation that makes them different from your standard clone trooper. The new Star Wars animated series is a spinoff of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and follows Clone Force 99 as they struggle for survival in the fallout of Clone Wars and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

Created by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: The Bad Batch stars Dee Bradley Baker and Ming-Na Wen. The series is now streaming on Disney+.
