According to the official series description,

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch -- a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army -- each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

"Giving new and existing fans the final chapter of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been our honor at Disney+, and we are overjoyed by the global response to this landmark series," Disney+ Senior Vice President of Content Agnes Chu said in a statement. "While the Clone Wars may have come to its conclusion, our partnership with the groundbreaking storytellers and artists at Lucasfilm Animation is only beginning. We are thrilled to bring Dave Filoni's vision to life through the next adventures of the Bad Batch."

Star Wars: The Clone Wars showrunner Dave Filoni will return to executive produce The Bad Batch, while Star Wars Rebels alum Brad Rau serves as supervising director and Star Wars Resistance's Jennifer Corbett acts as head writer. Rau, Corbett, Athena Portillo and Carrie Beck will also executive produce. Josh Rimes is attached to produce.

The Bad Batch was introduced in The Clone Wars' final season as an elite squadron of clone troopers, each of whom possessed a mutation that gave them unique abilities. For example, their leader Hunter possesses exceptional tracking skills, while Wrecker has super strength and Tech is super intelligent. In the Season 7 premiere, the Bad Batch teamed up with Captain Rex and helped him rescue fellow clone trooper Echo from the Republic. Changed by his experience as a prisoner of war, Echo ultimately chose to join the Bad Batch and left with them on their next adventure. All of these characters were voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres on Disney+ in 2021.
