While the Baby Yoda on The Mandalorian is still learning to use his powers, a fan decided to show us what it'd look like if the youngster could wield a lightsaber against the Emperor.
YouTube user MaxeBaumannFilms2013 took the Yoda versus Darth Sideous lightsaber battle from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and swapped out the wizened Jedi Master for the adorable Baby Yoda. As expected, the results are delightful.
While many fans take issue with the acrobatic Yoda moves in the Prequel Trilogy, this fan edit goes the other way by keeping Baby Yoda resting in his floating crib from the show. That, of course, doesn't stop him from showing off his skills.
It's unlikely we'll see Baby Yoda brandish a lightsaber any time soon on The Mandalorian, but the fan-favorite character does continue to surprise both audiences and the titular bounty hunter. It's not clear what the full scope of his history or powers are, but it's a safe bet that fans are going to keep putting out Baby Yoda content indefinitely.
