STAR WARS EPISODE VII
It’s all about the “Star Wars Episode VII” rumor mill these days as more and more old “Star Wars” cast members are being interviewed and asked whether they’ll appear in the upcoming sequel. Harrison Ford is rumored to have expressed interest in returning as Han Solo and Unleash the Fanboy spoke with original Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch about possibly reprising his role as the fan-favorite bounty hunter.
“Realistically I’m sure if Boba Fett were to return they would go with someone younger, but I’m still fit and can jump around,” Bulloch told Unleash the Fanboy. “I’d love to be involved in some way, maybe a cameo as an ageing Bounty Hunter in the corner somewhere.”
Finally, Celebuzz reports the rumor that indie director Colin Trevorrow, responsible for “Safety Not Guaranteed,” had early discussions with Lucasfilm about coming on to direct “Episode VII” prior to the sale of the company to Disney and remains on the list of potential directors to helm the new trilogy.
Spinoff Online reports the CW’s “Arrow” will gain a new villain — a retooled version of Count Vertigo. In fact, he may not even be called “Vertigo,” but Vertigo is a drug that’s circulating in Starling City. Vertigo will have the ability to “disorient and unbalance his victims” and will be “Oliver’s deadliest adversary to date.” The role has not yet been cast.

CBR’s own Kiel Phegley spoke with “Kick-Ass” creator Mark Millar about the production of “Kick-Ass 2” and the little nods to the series on set.
“The reason I took it to Matthew Vaughn was because I knew he loved it, and everybody that’s in the film has got copies on the set with them,” Millar told CBR. “To give an example, the set designer has built the Justice Forever headquarters for the super team that Kick-Ass joins. He’s made the whole thing with such detail that there’s a part based on one line I’ve got in the comic where Russell is making a schedule, and he worked out a whole schedule of which of the heroes would be available when. It’s hanging up on a piece of paper in the kitchen of the headquarters along with a list of whole likes cream and sugar in their coffee. It’s just all these tiny, tiny details you might not see in the film. They’re just in the background. John Romita was almost crying walking around the set! It looked just like his panels coming to life in front of him. It’s quite an emotional thing as crazy as that sounds.”
Yahoo! UK has posted photos of the “Kick-Ass 2” Londo production. It’s all very behind the scenes, but here’s a picture of Kick-Ass hailing a cab.

Neil Gaiman is coming back to “Doctor Who!” BBC reports Gaiman will take a run at the Cybermen this season in an episode directed by Stephen Woolfenden and starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and Jenna-Louise Coleman as the unnamed companion. The episode will guest star Warwick David, Tamzin Outhwaite and Jason Watkins.
“Cybermen were always the monsters that scared me the most! Not just because they were an awesome military force, but because sometimes they could be sleek and silver and right behind you without you even knowing,” Showrunner Steven Moffat stated. “And with one of the all-time classic monsters returning, and a script from one of our finest novelists, it’s no surprise we have attracted such stellar names as Tamzin, Jason and Warwick.”
“Doctor Who” returns December 25 for the Christmas Special
