The following article contains spoilers for the first three episodes of Andor, now streaming on Disney+.

Four new high-resolution images from Andor, the latest Star Wars spinoff series, have been released on the heels of the streaming series' three-episode premiere on Disney+ Wednesday.

Two of the images feature the show's protagonist Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, with one also including the latest new droid in the Star Wars saga, scrapyard droid B2EMO. Andor's ally, salvage mechanic Bix Caleen, played by Adria Arjona, and overzealous Pre-Mor Authority Deputy Chief Syril Karn, played by Kyle Soller, round out the quartet of new images.

The Story Behind Andor's New Images

Andor lays out the story of future Rebel Alliance member Cassian Andor beginning five years before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In the series' initial episodes, Andor finds himself running afoul of the Pre-Mor Authority while in the system searching for his lost sister, Kerri. Andor is forced to go on the run after an altercation with two officers from the Authority result in their deaths.

In the series' flashback sequence, a young Cassian Andor, who as a child goes by Kassa, is separated from his sister after a Republic spacecraft crashes near a mining site on his home world of Kenari. Kassa is taken from his tribe by scavenger Maarva -- played by Fiona Shaw and who later becomes a mother figure in Andor's life -- fearing the child's fate should he be discovered by the Republic. Other than a rumored sighting in a Morlana One bordello, little is known of Kerri's fate, or if she and her brother have ever reunited.

Bix Caleen plays an important role in Andor's journey, as she sets him up with a black-market dealer to purchase stolen Imperial technology from Andor, enabling him to raise the cash to get off his adopted planet of Ferrix. The buyer -- Luthen Rael, played by Stellan Skarsgård -- is actually part of the Rebel Alliance, revealing his true goal is to recruit Andor to the cause. Both successfully are able to flee Ferrix after escaping the Pre-Mor Authority’s pursuing task force.

B2EMO, often referred to simply as Bee, is Maarva's quirky and faithful scavenger droid who assists Andor in covering his tracks while he tries to get off Ferrix. The boxy mechanical companion is voiced by Dave Chapman.

Andor has been greenlit for two 12-episode seasons. New episodes drop Wednesdays on Disney+.
